PCI’s is be defined as

“…information in the client’s possession or which is reasonably obtainable by or on behalf of the client, which is:
. relevant to the construction work;
. is of an appropriate level of detail; and
. is proportionate to the risks involved…”

What’s in a PCI

We usually include the following:

  • A definition for the project
  • Project team information
  • Project start and finish dates
  • Identification of H&S hazards, both of the existing site and the proposed construction works
  • Presentation of any existing information for the site/property
  • Site security
  • Temporary works
  • Fire and emergency procedures
  • Existing site information: Services / Ground Conditions / Structures
  • Asbestos / Contaminated Land
