Company History

Batty France Consultancy had its origins in the late 1960’s when Ted Batty and Colin France worked together and developed a business which offered particular expertise for their Clients.

Originally based in an attic in Horsforth [89 Town Street] above their accountants, D’Arcy Howard,  expansion meant that the business was relocated to Brighouse.  Recession meant that another re-location to more frugal 2-storey premises above a Guy Watson’s in Shipley [Kirkgate] and then a final relocation to extended offices at 1 Rosse Street, Shipley.

Although based mainly in the Yorkshire Region, Batty France’s clients are generally nationally based.  This has not restricted some wider commissions in Europe and Eastern Europe.

Our diverse client base has enabled Batty France to gain diverse experience in most construction and property related matters – mostly targeted around each clients needs.
